This game is a good Time waster you start with a great opening where you learn how to speed up buildings and build In an order you have to advance your keep. It limits your Marching abilities hindering you from Farming the Outside things till Level 6 and then you only get 1 more marching spot. It does give you in game currency gold, is a good thing, but limits you on advanced materials that you need to Craft and Upgrade research later on in the game. If you spend money on games this Is one you can buy your way to happiness but for the free player good luck Farming all day to try and keep up. 3 stars it has good basics and army notes/ don’t really see animations in the battle and it’s a PVP so protecting your resources and armies is limited.
  • The Cold Hard Truth about GOT

Let me start off by saying that this is a very fun game that is highly addictive once you learn all the mechanics and what not , even more adding when you are a huge fan of the show. But the game is nothing like the ads that you see on YouTube or pop ups in games. from the ads you think this game is maybe a Game of Thrones version of “Clash of Clans” but let me be the first to tell you that this is not the case at all. Mind you that you do get to attack other people with your troops, join guilds (lieges) and conquer seats of power (ex: Winterfell , Castle Black ect. ) but you don’t see any of this if that makes sense. You can’t put your troops in formation and attack your enemy, or let your dragon rain fire on your enemies(we’ll talk about this later), and most of of the seats of power that are supposed to be conquered are locked! It’s not a “I have to level up to unlock them” thing. It’s a when is the game gonna make these “seats of power” available to attack to the public . There are currently 7 seats of power open at the moment (Mar 20 , 2019) out of 50+ and it seems like it has been taking an eternity for the game developers to unlock more seats to conquer. NOW ONTO THE DRAGONS... THE ADS LIED TO YOU . Not saying there are no dragons in the game at all , but if your not physically paying real money on this game then you are gonna have to wait a pretty long while until you can afford one (with in game currency) to take care of. The ads make it seem like the dragons are a necessity for the game and is a center piece all through out , but that couldn’t be farther than the truth. It’s an amazing feeling when u are finally able to hatch your dragon but then you realize you can’t “fight” with it until the dragon is level 31 and not have perks and power till level 41. Also it’s gonna take 5 months for you for you to even get that far in the upgrade because practically everything takes 12 hours to level up when your high in levels. Now there are opportunities that you can use to speed this time up with “speed tokens” but you don’t want to waste all of them when everything else has to upgrade as well. Now it is a very social game with lots of messaging and banter back and forth but like any game in the world there are toxic people who want to ruin the game by over attacking the same people over and over , taking all of your resources and killing all of your troops and what not , and let me tell you that there’s not a worse feeling than leaving the game for 30 min and coming back to 1 player attacking your Keep 30 times taking all of your resources and killing all of your troops and now you have to take a week to get all of your troops and resources back by training and farming. But all in all the game is fun , you just have to put the time (lots and I’m talking lots of it) Patients(Money if you have little of this) Effort and Brains Into the game if you even want to come close to be considered a force to be reckoned with. Overall 4/5 ⭐️

I’ve been playing GOTC for 3 months and the only good thing to come of it are the friends I’ve made. Here are the reasons why you should avoid it at all costs: 1. Do NOT buy into it because it’s Game of Thrones. This game has actually really damaged the whole franchise in my eyes. The only things GOT about it are map locales and some pictures of GOT characters. 2. If you’re installing for the dragon, don’t bother. In order to get a dragon that is actually able to damage enemy players and seats of power (castles that allegiances can hold) you need to either wait months or pay easily $2000-$3000 in micro-transactions to do it. 3. This is not a free to play game. It’s free to install, but once you reach a certain point the only way forward is by spending money. Getting to keep level 13 is easy as free to play but after that you’re looking at paying an additional $1000 to get to at least keep level 22. If you end going free to play, you won’t hit keep level 22 for months which, by that point, the people who can pay are already so far ahead of you there is no point. 4. Moving on from gameplay problems, there are also major system issues. There are frequently glitches and bugs that severely inhibit the ability to play the game. In some instances, they have cost people the money they have spent in the game, including myself when it came to a daily delivery (a type of micro transaction purchase) that never appeared. 5. You will find yourself restarting this game over and over again as it freezes frequently. 6. Their support is severely lacking and needs more work. Sometimes it takes days to get a response from support if something is wrong with your game. I’ve had to go on Twitter before and harass them in order to get a response to my ticket. I’m sorry for the long review, I just want everyone to understand what they’re buying into before they install. An informed consumer is a good consumer. If you want to install the game, by all means do, but know what you’re getting into first. Thanks. tl;dr game is glitchy, requires too much money to play (to the tune of $2000-$3000), not free to play, and the only good thing is the people.
  • Too many bugs and WB doesn’t care

The game started off great even if you almost had to spend a lot of money to be competitive it seemed worth it till you really start noticing all the bugs and glitches affecting purchases and game play. I submitted a complaint that I purchased a resource pack but never got the items. I was told to check my WiFi connection and update my app. I never got my product or a refund even though I asked for both repeatedly. I’m done spending money and mostly just chat but this is only one example out of thousands. The company doesn’t care about its customers or gaming experience, their behavior says they only care about money.

The game is decent outside of the fact that my last 7 tickets have gone completely unanswered. So if you have any problems or deal with glitches they won't care.

I’m sure my coffers have been raided, this is the second day of not being able to login. I was 15 days away from logging in for 75 days. My food and wood were over 4mil. I cannot get into the game, and cannot put up a peace shield but I’m notified when I’m being attacked by a rogue whatever. Allthat I’ve built and can’t access my peace shield.
  • Fun, but it’s a long term...

Game is great since it incorporates Westeros. The latest update cuts off some our inventory number for iPhone XS plus. Need to format for the screen. Getting items for crafting is long as well, need to make it a bit easier to gain items.
  • Game is a fustercluck

Game is still unstable over a year after release, advanced resources are still ludicrously hard to come by in a quantity that is appropriate, and people vastly stronger than you can still port right beside you and wipe you out before the game has even opened. I’m still not sure what the hell the devs are doing with all of the money that people have put into this game, but it’s definitely nothing beneficial. Not fun past the first few Keep levels, and definitely not worth putting your money into until something is done about the rampant abuse.
