Later we created Surviving High School and Cause of Death, the first games with episodes, for EA. Both games hit the Top 25 and were inspirations for other companies. After leaving EA, our team regrouped in a small office and with the quacking of nearby ducklings we set out to create story-driven games with heart. As Pixelberry, we launched two hit games, High School Story and Hollywood U. Our team has now grown to over a dozen of the most experienced game writers in the industry. In our 10 years of creating story games together, we’ve seen heartbreak, marriages, great adventures, and even Pixelbabies. But even through diaper changes and late nights, we think we’ve created our best work to date. We hope you’ll fall in love with our newest characters, Chris, James, Kaitlyn, Dave, and Sam just as we have. Enjoy, - The Pixelberry Team

  • Love the stories, need more ways to earn diamonds!

    By Pfaffette530
Best story app I’ve downloaded so far, but would love more opportunities to earn diamonds. Watch advertisements, maybe earn more than one for finishing an entire book? Please!
  • Great stories but costly

    By Go Pirates and Deacons
I really enjoy these stories. They are entertaining and mildly addictive. However it is costly to purchase diamonds and earning diamonds is extremely slow.
  • No Tickets

    By GamesAreLyfe
Ok. The game is great, you have lots of stories I’m sure everyone will love at least half of them. The one and only problem, Tickets. Passes, tickets, whatever you wanna call them, you don’t get many. I get home at 3pm, play 2 chapters which lasts 20 minuets tops then wait 4 hours to play 2 more chapters. So I play 2 chapter at 3pm, 7pm, 11pm, then I have to wait until tomorrow. Remember how I said the stories last 20 minutes per 4 hours? Yeah. Diamonds are whatever. I can always buy diamonds if I REALLY want to get something. But I can’t enjoy the game if I can hour spend an hour of my time on a game. And if your their saying “An hour is enough” I spend half my day on games and I’m sure I’m not the only one
  • Great if diamonds weren’t so expensive

    By Jkay83
This is actually a cool app but you have to pay for diamonds to be able to make any choices and the diamonds are so expensive! I get that you have to make money, but you are charging way too much for the amount of diamonds that are required to make any choices. Someone could easily spend tens of dollars (or much more!) just to get through a game, which is by far extremely overpriced compared to other games. People will stop playing if you continue this practice. Please require less diamonds for choices (be reasonable here) or offer the option to watch ads to earn diamonds. Thanks.
  • Your pocket will suffer

    By Jelly.Bean122421
This game is awesome. The stories, and all are great. Only issue, to get the good options you HAVE to use diamonds, and its not like you use one or two for those options... you have to spend 20 or more, and it's not like they are easy to earn or inexpensive.... 20 diamonds for 2 dollars??? 5 for 60?? I mean, common. If one option requires so much diamonds, why so little??? And let's not mention that when completing a chapter, you only get 1 diamond.... what is that?? Seriously, deleted the game because I wasn't going to keep spending on diamonds... I'm not rich.
  • The game’s amazing, the system’s flawed.

Choices is awesome! I can say that wholeheartedly because I love story games that allow you to simulate specific choices and thus change the results of your story. I was an original fan of both Surviving High School and High School Story, So when I first saw Choices’ released announcement, I was so excited. It’s been, I believe, two years since I stopped playing this game and just continued about a week ago. I started to play again and I’m happy I did since the stories make me smile at every turn that comes about in the plot. Well, up until the choices where diamonds come in. I don’t spend money on apps mostly because I don’t have any of it to spend on small things. I can understand the keys and the time to get more for them but it’s absolutely ridiculous how you only get one diamond after playing a story. The minimum amount of diamonds you need for a specific choice is (to my knowledge of the few stories I’ve played) 12 diamonds. Even then, I’m being run dry. I will admit that I splurged out of anger and bought a bundle of diamonds, but it’s also extremely overcharged as compared to the average roleplaying app in similarity to Choices. I just kind of wish someone in Pixelberry would work to change the way diamonds could be given (for example: a certain amount of diamonds for logging in per day, do this task and get diamonds, get more diamonds for completing the chapter or depending on specific choices, etc.).
  • Guys

Please make a guys version of this. Thanks!
  • really..?

    By Qpqpqowowowowowsnznan
I love the storyline in these games, but I hate that I can never get anything out of them, because the cost for special things is soo expensive. I’m not going to waste money on a game, but like at least give us a few diamonds or lower the cost of a better route because it really takes away from cool choices in the game. Just my opinion though..
  • The best

    By Kaylie Geoffroy
The best app ever... Has juicy stories that will keep you drooling!!
  • Good game but....

    By ys David
Just like a lot of people said gem suffering is a big problem for some choices gems are acceptable for example getting a better armor but having none because of lack of gem is not fair some simple choices should not have gem or atleast a simpler option without gem cost and one with otherwise game is good
