  • My opinion

    By haushibs
I like that most of the sessions are 5-10 minutes long. It makes it very simple to incorporate a session at anytime during a day. For me personally, it helps to ground or relax me to tackle a problem or just navigate the remainder of my day.
  • It is, actually a simple habit!

I wasn’t sold on this meditating thing. Seemed like a bunch of hippie dippie crap that sold a bunch of books that no one read. Then I tried this app for a week. I feel so much more resilient to small things that used to annoy me than I did a week ago. I’ve had a lot going on and have been going to bed later, so those things should be annoying me double, but they flat out aren’t. The only explanation I can come up with is the meditation.

Don’t sign up for this app unless you are certain you want it. It is almost impossible to cancel until after they take your money.
  • I really LOVE this App but...

It has twice made me recreate my setup and won’t keep my login/password. When I try to use Facebook it freezes on my phone. Where is support? It goes back to the log in screen??? I use this every day but a little frustrated. I need to meditate b/c of my meditation app!!! It is not letting me log in now.

I’ve been faithfully doing at least one meditation a day for a little over two weeks. I started with the introductory multi-day “thread” and have simultaneously undertaken several other offered threads hoping that I’m weaving a sensible path. There’s an option to set an alert but the routine has become part of my inner clock; I feel like I have forgotten something or something is amiss if I have not meditated by mid-morning. And all of the meditations are really good—clearly some resonate with my state of mind more clearly than others. The one constructive criticism of the app is that there’s the constant enticement of new meditative threads—many of which are enticing but which may disrupt the continuity of the primary thread you are currently undertaking. It might help to be able to visualize the journey in the app and be able to distinguish between the primary path of progress and the wonderful little detours that address the peripheral issues of daily life but which, I assume, are intended to be guideposts to get you back on the main path.
