Pokémon GO App Details

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a dynamic weather system that recognizes real-world weather, impacting the gameplay experience in a variety of ways, from changing the Pokémon encountered to increasing their effectiveness in combat. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • Stooped

Game still has glitches that they said they would fix and this was just 7~8 months ago
  • Apple 5C or later not Supported

    By Vulcanized Brocli
No in app warning prior to device being unsupported. Game did tend to happen less often than it used to prior to the release of 3rd gen. Have added weather which increases appearance of certain types.
  • Great game

It’s a great game and very fun.
  • Raids stop spawning way too early

    By BlueLiquidPlus
How do raids stop spawning so early. Working a 9-5 I barely get out of work with enough time to do any raiding. Now with day light savings it’s brighter even later in the day and can’t raid anymore. Need it to go to 830/845 or something.
  • Sync issues with I watch

Yeah. What I just said. Running app on phone has to be closed after starting it on I watch. Real pain. 3 stars because of that.

For some reason I’m lvl 15 and have never had issues with it and it all of a sudden just continues to tell me GPS not found (11) i have reset my phone turned location services off entirely then on then turned location services off specifically for this app and then on again and i have yet to find a solution please help
  • Great game but room for improvement!

    By MagicalUni666
My family and I love this game!!! But I think you could make a few improvements. First, you should have the ability to trade with other players. For example if one player has 7 Dragonite and another with 7 Tyranitar they should be able to trade. Other than that it’s a great game!!
  • Ended support for older phones

Apparently Niantic is so secure in their fan base that they are able to eliminate users by ending support for select generations of devices.
  • Livid customer

I have had this app since it first came out and have even spent money on it. I have been playing Pokémon since I was a child and was ecstatic when Pokémon Go came out. Having an iPhone 5 (since I don't want an upgrade to the mini tablets they call phones these days) I realized at some point that I would no longer be able to update anymore and would be missing out on some of the newest features. HOWEVER, I never thought that I would have the app entirely taken away from me because my device is no longer "supported". I'm sorry, I thought other apps were able to let you continue playing even though you could no longer receive upgrades? I must be mistaken. I am livid at the fact that I am not allowed to use my app at all anymore just because I won't give in to a society that wants you to buy the latest and greatest technology gadgets. I would have still continued to play Pokémon go and continued to purchase items in the game even with an outdated app and would have still loved it just as much, even without having the new features. I guess the company cares more about getting the most for their money versus letting their customers enjoy their game.
  • Used to be Great

I'm so disappointed in downloading the most recent update and my device is no longer supported!!!! If it was stated before I got the update otherwise I would not have gotten it. Such garbage!
