  • Disappointing app

The podcasts are very disappointing. They don't work in my app and you won't let me listen anywhere else. I paid $60 a year- just let me listen. I expect much better from an app. The Athletic articles are five stars. But the app experience is why I won't be renewing.

Great story. Seems as you worked very hard and did tons of research. Thanks it was a pleasure to read.
  • Laviolettes future in Poiles hands.

Fans should not be given a voice on Laviolette. They’ll always make a decision based on a lack of information. Thank you for the article!

I do not want this app. It is impossible to unsubscribe and now I have been charged.
  • Love the Athletic

The site is great, the content is great and the app looks really nice. I wish it had a night mode though. It’s rough when all the app is a clean dark mode then you click an article to read and it’s super bright white.

    Good addition to your staff.
  • Value could be better

Content: I cannot justify the $70 price tag for the two teams that I follow (I would renew if the price remained at $35). I would prefer coverage of a more technical nature with less fluff and less repeated content. Brevity, originality and relevance are preferred. I don't care to read a long article where a player or coach is quoted verbatim using bad grammar to describe what he had for breakfast. App: The app could be better, but is certainly better than the majority of its cohorts in the sports news world.
