  • Great Starter Lessons! - AppleTV App, Please!

    By djcozmik
These are well recorded lessons with a set of good instructors! There are a few awkward points where it seems like lessons might be a little out of sequence, or assumed skill level will jump abruptly during one lesson (looking at you, end of Electric Guitar Level 1), but the concept and the quality is great! My two suggestions would be: 1) Make more use of on-screen graphics! The could be more on-screen tablature or notation for students to follow along with. 2) Make an AppleTV app for this! My wife and I are learning guitar together through these lessons, and right now we have to use Airplay to get it on our TV. This is always a little awkward and it would be much nice to have a native AppleTV app. Thanks!

This app has truly taught me how to play!
  • Old dog new tricks

When I was younger, I wanted to learn guitar. I crushed my ring finger on my left hand. Then kids came along and my time evaporated. Now, at 53 years old, I’ve bought a guitar and with this app, learning is easy, and on my schedule. Thanks Fender!

I downloaded Fender Play and got the trial today but decided that I didn’t need this app anymore so I went into my subscriptions to disable the trial. I tapped something again that brought up the purchase screen for the subscription. I had my thumb naturally resting on my iPhone home button to hold my phone when it authorized a $9.99 purchase before I could react. I was in the process of cancelling my trial, why would I want to pay $10.00 for an app I don’t want. Please help me get a refund. I want a refund.
  • Great lessons

Really good lessons for everyone. Beginners to old players. I really enjoy the short easy lessons.
  • Question

    By brianrw43
Does this app only teach me beginner stuff and songs, or does it teach me literally everything about all techniques and reading music? I’ve already been playing a while and don’t wanna subscribe unless I can learn everything I don’t know yet
  • Good lessons for beginers

    By KevinLarryStone
Good lessons for beginners. Steady pace and not too much talking which is definitely a plus.
  • Repeated episodes

    By iScottyjD
Im a beginner when comes to guitar, just started playing about a week or 2 ago and so far I find the app very useful and easy to understand; however there is one little thing that is confusing to me. I feel like a good amount of the episodes are repeated and they’re just using a different person, im not to sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be or if there’s a glitch or something. But, exclude that and you have a good app overall.
  • Need bass guitar

    By Shinchris83
The lesson plans look awesome but they don’t focus on guitars(electric and acoustic) and ukuleles. I’m a bass player and I know Fender makes electric basses as well as acoustic ones. I would like to see bass guitar lessons added into the guitar section for bass guitarist. Some of the guitar lessons work for bass but not all of the them.
