This game is fun, engaging and constantly growing. Every month there are new characters! Events change from Deadpool to Iron Man to currently Juggernaut and the alliance feature is a fun way to interact with other gamers. As with all mobile games, people will complain about something. I have bought a dozen offers from $1-25 but I could just as easily be F2P. A few of my alliance members are completely F2P and we all enjoy the game just as same. If you like the Marvel Universe then this is the game for you.
  • Great game (as F2P)/freezes up pretty bad

With all the new crap they added all you do is get stuck on load screens.... have fun doing nothing Pretty easy concept. Do missions, those start to open up different character shards in which you need to collect a certain amount to obtain different characters (45-100). Team of 5 char. at a time per battle and you can constantly switch your line-up to different char. Special campaigns/raids will be updated in the game when new marvel movies hit theaters. You can obtain that hero in said campaigns/raids, which alway change up the game. There are 60+ characters, there are guilds to join, weekly login shards, And PVP. They give you MULTIPLE ways to earn characters shards, items, currency and everything else you will need to make a awesome team. It’s one of them games where you can play it for 5–15 mins or a hour or 2 after a couple weeks of playing. I get lost in it all the time and will play for a hf hr-hr, glad I downloaded. Fun game. (You can also purchase orbs and just buy everything too, so when it comes to pvp that blows, but what app don’t try to get you to purchase everything now-a-days?) Worth a download!

1st Bring back Venom. I only downloaded this game cause I saw an advertisement with venom in it and although it was listed there were no raids or campaigns for him and the drops for the orbs were borderline nonexistent. 2nd raise drop percentages and keep characters on there instead of erasing them from the game once an event is over cause that 1% chance of getting it is too d*mn small. I’d sooner win the lottery then get enough pieces to recruit any of them. 3rd if not 1 or 2 is done then make a campaign mission to get their shards like the rest. 4th exp rewards on campaign is too little. Once you get to the late 30s for lvl it’s never enough to level up any of your characters 5th it takes too many small orbs to claim a regular orb and there aren’t enough small orbs dropped 6th it takes too many shards to recruit some characters. The max should be 100 nothing more yet some take almost 200 and yet the missions give nowhere near enough. 7th deals to buy shards are useless and a waste of money cause most of them are too d*mn expensive and don’t even give you enough to recruit 1 person unless you buy it 2 or 3 times costing you $20-60. With that much money you could just buy a real game for one of the newer consoles or pc There are more stuff I could add but I’m tired and I’m going to sleep

I love the game it’s easy to navigate through it, but the only problem is that there no way to sort to between villains and heroes. If you can add a feature to do that it would make the game much easier to upgrade your hero team and villain team.

I never see it freeze up on my iPad Air (2013), but I can’t believe it locks up ALL the time on my phone. You’d think this game would strive to be just as stable as its competitors.

  • Typical F2P Game Focused Towards Addicting You

I’ve put in months of play since April this year into MSF. I have a single team rated well over 150k power. The game has pretty fun combat for the most part until you need to push then the AI with either rubber band on you, occasionally blatantly cheat, or crash. The game (along with the devs) are not transparent on anything. There’s a severe lack of description for buffs and debuffs in the game. Character ability descriptions are misleading, i.e. Black Widow’s “Widow’s Bite” ability at level 6 describes a 60% chance to chain attack up to 3 additional, “adjacent”, targets (the game has its own meaning of what “adjacency” means); however, you’ll notice your Black Widow will very rarely chain attack to a second target, let alone three additional targets, meanwhile enemy Black Widow will consistently chain attack the majority of your team. This is just one example. MSF, like so many F2P games before it, is centered around latching onto that addictive personally, pissing you off with terrible “luck”, all in hopes that you’ll spend cash to ultimately “try again” - which probably won’t work for you either. It’s legalized gambling and it’s a shame because there could be an amazing game here if it was being made by gamers who actually care about video games. It’s a cash grab. That’s all it is. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you’ll find real pleasure in the game because it’s a façade. Here are example micro transactions in this game: You can currently unlock Juggernaut from the get go... for $100... sound like a good deal? You can buy gold occasionally from the “offers” menu... somewhere between $20-$35 earns you the equivalent in gold for leveling up one maybe two characters. No one in their right mind buys this crap nor should be tempted to be the game but it plasters offers in your face like it’s Black Friday in a mall. Games like this are what’s wrong with the gaming industry right now. It’s a cancer that’s unfortunately spread to the lymph nodes and needs to start chemo ASAP. You may not think it’s bad, I mean, you’re just one person, right? What does it matter if you buy an offer here or there? The latest statistics show that 50% of the gaming industry’s revenue comes from mobile games... while that’s not exclusive to F2P, the majority of it is undoubtedly from micro transactions. Crap like this should be illegal or regulated at minimum. Be a part of the solution and don’t support this trash. Even if there’s no way you’d spend even 50¢ on this game, it’s not worth supporting free either. This was my first real dip into the mobile gaming world and it made it clear to me what’s really happening in my beloved industry. Play a real video game with a single-time price of admission like: Spider-Man (2018), God of War (2018), Mark of the Ninja, Dark Souls, Mario Odyssey, or perhaps get a real mobile gaming platform like a 3DS and play Metroid or Castlevania, anything that doesn’t support micro transactions. Be the solution. Thank you. More of a rant than a review but I’m passionate about this subject.
