Jan 2019 update: Apple Watch crashed after a 9 mile run dumping everything! Until the watch app is fixed giving it a 1 star rating because I don’t trust it anymore. Excellent app for running!! The App gives basic information, while the companion website displays a ton of excellent statistical data about your runs. A big winner!! I have used this app since 2008, and love being able to look back at my past statistics. Additionally the Apple watch integration had greatly improved, and I love being able to run without a phone now!

Great app for the most part. GPS and audio cues flop at times. But plugging in custom workouts is easy.

This app is perfect I have zero complaints, not had any bugs, used it for years and it syncs with everything I need it to! My only gripe which is a small one but I really want it so I’m holding a star hostage- is the Runkeeper overlay for sharing photos! This overlay feature only lets you snap a raw photo, not upload from your gallery. So you can not take a photo midrun to use either- like you can only do it at the end of the run where you have a sweaty red face or at your house. Please let us choose a photo from gallery! :)

I walk most everyday. This app is great. I set the app to update me at 1/4 mile mark and every ten minutes. There are a few times it has me getting to the mile markers sooner than I am. Other than that, no issues.

Update on 9.5.4 Zero stars if it was allowed. I give up. Deleted the unusable 5.4.3 from the watch, updated to 9.5.4 on the phone, added this “rollback” version to the watch, and it still crashes at the end of every run & loses all data. Five updates in a row are useless on my series 4 Apple watch & my patience with one of my favorite apps has just run out. Time to give the built in tracking app a whirl. Update on 9.5.3 Apple Watch app is back to crashing consistently. Occurs when hitting “pause” to end a run. It simply dumps all the data & prompts you you start a run. (Edit) After again deleting the app from my Apple watch and the re-adding the app, it’s worked correctly for three runs now with the latest version. Two quick updates after the initial one that broke the watch version and this app is still 100% dead after the initial update which was meant to add Apple Watch functionality. C’mon guys, release the last stable version as an “update” while you figure out what bits of the new one are causing the crashes. That’s damage control 101. Runkeeper was the gold standard, but after three updates in a row who’s only functions seem to be to either crash the app or dump all new data, I think it’s time to start the new year with a new running app. For the record, I have a series 4 and Runkeeper is the only app added to the watch.

Ease of use with Apple Watch and synch is weak. No hand off to watch s4 with cellular and glitchy. Not easy to find app support when in the app. Regretting paying for premium.
