AnkiMobile Flashcards App Details

AnkiMobile is a mobile companion to Anki, a powerful, intelligent flashcard program that is free, multi-platform, and open-source. Sales of this app support the development of both the computer and mobile version, which is why the app is priced as a computer application. AnkiMobile offers some features not found in other flashcard apps: - A free cloud synchronization service that lets you keep your card content synchronized across multiple mobile and computer devices. This makes it easy to add content on a computer and then study it on your mobile, easily keep your study progress current between an iPhone and iPad, and so on. - The same proven scheduling algorithm that the computer version of Anki uses, which reminds you of material as you're about to forget it. - A flexible interface designed for smooth and efficient study. You can set up AnkiMobile to perform different actions when you tap or swipe on various parts of the screen, and control which actions appear on the tool buttons. - Comprehensive graphs and statistics about your studies. - Support for large card decks - even 100,000+ cards. - If your cards use images or audio clips, the media is stored on your device, so you can study without an internet connection. - A powerful search facility that allows you to find cards that match criteria such as 'tagged high priority, answered in the last ten days and not containing the following words', and automatically place them into a deck to study. - Support for displaying mathematical equations that were added with LaTeX in the desktop software, and ruby text above Asian languages. Please note that AnkiMobile is currently intended as a companion to the computer version of Anki, rather than a complete replacement for it. While AnkiMobile is able to display your cards in the same way the computer version does, certain changes like modifying note types need to be done with the computer software. For this reason, please familiarize yourself with the computer version of Anki before you think about buying this app. Please also note that while you can use almost any language on your cards, AnkiMobile's user interface is only available in English at the moment. Aside from the cloud synchronization service, AnkiMobile also supports copying decks to and from your device via the USB cable and iTunes. Like all apps, AnkiMobile can be purchased once and then used on multiple devices in a household using the same Apple ID. Family sharing is also supported. • Images not syncing

I love Anki, but the images from my image occlusion cards aren’t syncing on my iOS devices, which is pretty annoying. Worked perfectly fine before - would be great to get a fix!
  • Great app. Very ugly logo.

I love this so much. I wanna suggest if it’s possible ... if say you made 4 pile of decks and you don’t know which deck you should get started reviewing on that day, Anki can somehow tells you which Pile of decks you are weak on and which pile of decks you are strong Or fairly ok on... so I can choose which decks to put my priorities & focus on over others.. Thanks
  • Please make OLED DARK MODE

Please make a theme that can be used for those of us with iPhone X's to make it easier on our eyes when we study in bed at night. The more light you can remove from the screen, the better! Maybe even make it so the text becomes more gray colored rather than white. That will make this app perfect!!! Edit: I didn't know about the toggle night mode option, I only knew about the theme change to black. So this app is perfect then!
  • Worth the money!

I’ve been using this app for study Japanese and it works like a charm. It works great and is worth the money. Better than writing out flash cards. One feature that would make it tons better would be to have the option of flipping the front and back of the card so you can learn it the other way around.
  • [Almost] Perfect clone of the desktop version

This is probably the app I’ve used the most over the last year, (save for maybe Safari). It’s pretty much a clone of the desktop version functionality-wise, but it has the added convenience of being able to use it on your iPhone or iPad (or both in my case). A feature that I didn’t find on the iOS version is the ability to mass-reschedule cards, but I do that so infrequently it’s not even an issue. There are a couple other minor features missing in the app that are present in the latest Anki desktop release, but all of the core, important features and functionalities are in it, which is what matters. Definitely the best flash card app, and definitely worth the money.
  • It’s going to get me an MD

Anki has been tremendous & game-changing for me. It’s completely open source, and the relatively high price tag (compared to other apps) on the mobile app supports the development team. The desktop version is free. Incredibly powerful, great development community, a ton of add-ons available, huge amount of flexibility, and - most importantly - massive pre-made decks. “Zanki” is a med school deck that’s almost comprehensive for step 1. How much did u pay for boards and beyond? Sketchy? Pathoma? Not that you shouldn’t use them in conjunction, but Zanki (and other supplemental decks) has entered the canon and it’s 100% /free./ Amazing. Support open-source development, get this app.
  • Like it but wish I could font

I recently found a font I want to use in the app but cannot use it immediately in the app. In order to use it you have to use the desktop application and do a bunch of technical stuff ( I've never done it before and know notions about code) I wanted to buy anyfont and use that but, pretty sure it won't work. I wish I could use anyfont because it's the fastest way to go and won't take a long time to do
  • Does Not Compare To PC Functionality

The mobile versions of Anki are lacking in their potential functionality. My desktop version has multiple add-one which greatly improve studying. However, when I switch to mobile I am living in a significantly neutered experience which is not worth the app price unfortunately.
  • Not worth the purchase

I paid too much for this app, to not to be able to organize cards into folders. Even quizlet can do that in the free version. The app version is severely limited in features that the computer/laptop version has for FREE. So why did I even pay for this useless app?
