Newton Mail - Email App App Details

Newton is a subscription-based service that supercharges your email with power features like Read Receipts, Snooze, Send Later, Undo Send, Sender Profile, Connected Apps and more across iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Apple Watch and Mac. Comes with a 14-day free trial. Newton is available as an in-app subscription for $49.99/yr. That’s about $4/mo for something that you use dozens of times everyday. Works with Gmail, Exchange, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail/Outlook, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and all IMAP accounts. **Newton Mail now has a companion - Newton Calendar. Download the app, and all your events/calendars will sync automatically. Works with Google and Exchange (EWS) calendars.** *What Happens After 14 Days* Power features like Read Receipts, Tidy Inbox, Send Later & more stop working. Email sync will also stop and the experience will continue to degrade further. *Sign Up Once, Use Everywhere* Your Newton account is your key to all things Newton. Use it to instantly access your email anytime, across ALL your devices - be it iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Mac. Email preferences & settings are synced magically on every device, without having to set up your account all over again. *Why Newton is the only email app you need* ● Read Receipts - Get read-status for every email you send. Also get notified as soon as the email is read. Know exactly who read your email with individual mail tracking. ● Send Later - Schedule emails to be sent later and have them delivered to the recipient’s inbox at just the right moment. Also, you can stop the scheduled email if the recipient sends a mail in between. ● Tidy Inbox - Focus on emails that matter. Weed out newsletters and social media emails to another folder and make your inbox distraction-free. Think Gmail tabs for all email accounts. ● Sender Profile - Know more about the people who email you. Get job titles, organisation info, location, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter profiles & more. ● Snooze - Set your emails to come back to Inbox at a more convenient time. Snooze emails, not productivity. ● Connected Apps - Finish your workflow without leaving your email. Add important emails to your favorite productivity apps like Todoist, Evernote, OneNote, Pocket, Trello, Wunderlist, Instapaper & more. ● Undo Send - Pull back that email blunder you just sent. Especially useful when you’re on mobile and need to reply in a hurry. ● Instant push notifications for ALL types of email - Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo Mail, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and any IMAP account. ● Save attachments to your favorite cloud storage service like Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, OneDrive etc. with ease. But wait...there’s more! - 2-factor authentication - One-click Unsubscribe - Custom Inbox Swipes - iPad Pro support - Handoff - HTML signatures - Email Aliases - Print emails - Turn on/off Conversations - Touch ID - Easy on battery and data - Custom Folder Sync - Spotlight Search - Interactive Notifications - 3D Touch - Remote Wipe - Passcode Lock - Unified Inbox - Available in all major languages Newton is available as an in-app subscription for $49.99 per year. App Reviews

  • Good App but Bad pricing model

    By B-Rad2020
This app used to be 100% free, but it makes total sense that they need to charge money to stay in business, provide crucial updates, and introduce new features. I was all set to subscribe until I discovered they were asking $50 per year subscription fee. That was too large a jump for me. So I went with Airmail 3 which had the same set of features and a longer track record of trust. As an early adopter, I felt incredibly burned when a forced update disabled my formerly favorite email tool and suddenly demanded $50 per year. No discount or concession was made to early adopters who helped spread this apps popularity via word of mouth and peer to peer demos. Instead it came across like a “thanks for supporting us for three years and now we’ll flip you the bird.” I guarantee that not a single high rating is from a former Cloud Magic user (the apps former name). Objectively, CloudMagic becoming Newton is a fascinating case study that my friend, ,and PR professor, used often to teach students the principles of cognitive dissonance, brand trust, and “alienation without communication.”
  • Love it, except...

    By blattke
I love it. It has great features, but if I take a few days from using it, it takes it a long time to update to the latest e-mails. I’ve seen mail clients that are way better and faster at this.
  • App forces me to log-on every time I use it

    By J. Berlin
Something changed in the past few months and now I cannot use this app without logging into it each and every time I want to use it. If I'm in Safari and want to send an article or link via Newton, I can't because I get a message that I'm not logged in. No other email apps do this and neither did Newton originally. I've stopped using it, despite the fact I paid so much money for it.
  • 3 years going strong

  • Monthly subscription

I used to love this when it was free. Also I wished there was a monthly subscription option.
  • No updates in the last year

    By Ramanathan10
At $49.99/yr, Newton is a premium app. So what’s premium about this? Three stars for the following: 1. Support 2. Reliable 3. Simple, yet powerful approach to mail. What’s not premium that dings 2 stars: 1. No updates shipped in the last year. UI looks and feels the same as last year. 2. Not many bells and whistles (now part of many free apps) that separates Newton from other free apps. The gap is being closed and other apps are catching up.
  • Features still needed

    By bccoleman3
Great app! Please keep adding features. A few thoughts: - ability to minimize current draft email and then view inbox and come back to the draft. - ability to perform actions against a folder. (mark all as read) - selecting all actually doesn’t select all. - better calendar integration. (See feedback on your calendar app)
  • New to Newton

    By CDone
Great app, so far... I just downloaded. I like the feature where I can press the email and it pops up with different folders that I can move the email. Also, I can move numerous emails at the same time. One other thing, I love the undo button, it has saved me more than once.
  • Missing key feature

    By DuckHunter57
You cannot prevent Newton from downloading external content in emails. This is a key safety feature in almost all modern day email clients. What this means is when mail clients like Newton embed a tracking link to see if you’ve read the email, you have no way of preventing this, if you use Newton. If you use other clients, you can turn off downloading external links, and they will not be able to see if you’ve read the email or not. This is only one scenario.
  • Five Stars all day!

    By Deathvvish
I might have written one or two reviews - blah blah blah, but Newton is such an awesome email app, I couldn’t resist. I knew I was going to buy it based on the reviews, but still had to test it. With that, it was even better than I expected. From the simpleness of setting up various home and work accounts, to the easy to navigate and swipe features, and most of all. having all of my folders all integrated within Newton for seamless organization. The read receipts and send later are obviously great too. So glad I stumbled across Newton. Thank you!
