The job board for linkedin jobs, in my geographical area at least, has been taken over by a scammy company called virtualvocations. At vv users have to pay to become members in order to apply for jobs. I know places that charge and are legit (though it seems iffy to me but whatever) but this virtualvocations company gathers job info from free sites and then won’t let users see the FREE information (like the company name and where they can apply—for free) until they join their site. They take information hostage, without permission, and people get tricked into paying 15.99 a month. Multiply that by 12. Would you pay that for a year to apply for jobs you could apply to for free? Now it appears linkedin jobs has been infected by them. There should be a filter to weed out companies. It’s too bad because this app could be awesome. Virtualvocations is doing a horrible thing by preying on the unemployed. Linkedin jobs should take note.
  • Exceptional service

This recruiting team is one of the best. The only thing I dislike is the amount of funds you have to put up front just to open up some of the opportunities you are interested in.

  • App suddenly stopped showing available jobs?

    By Grlybrainiac
The job search function and suggested jobs was working fantastically until a couple of days ago, now it only shows one posting (the same one). Maybe this is a glitch? Maybe something changed? It was working great up until then!
