  • Makes Nice Products Useless

You can't connect to most public WiFi and services like Netflix block VPNs due to the potential malicious uses of them, so it makes a device virtually useless. Also it often blocks the ability to update your device, leaving it vulnerable to threats. Along with all of that, it significantly reduces battery life. What's most ridiculous is all of the "features" of this app are now already on iOS, making it a waste of money. In conclusion, if you want to turn an expensive Apple device into a hunk of non-functional metal and you want to throw away hard-earned money, by all means, get it.

Cannot get apps installed on controller devices, passwords not recognized, way too complicated to be helpful to parents. Avoid.

This app has way too many bugs. In my family Snapchat is basically the devil, i used to be able to have it but it was taken from me when i got in trouble. I understood this so i have kept away from it but this stupid app is saying i am doing snapchat on my activity report. and let me clarify that i have tried to download it and it didn’t even work. I was fine with this app until it started getting me in trouble for something i’m not doing.
  • Doesn't Work

The VPN blocks the internet from even working on iOS and you can literally just restart your phone and access anything blocked because the VPN doesn't start up automatically.
  • Not worth it

Wanted to try the app and I’m not satisfied with the fact that I have to pay so much for services that are not working properly. During trial period I was never able to check on chat features and then after trial, only works what I don’t need.

When my parents started using this, they didn’t trust me anymore. All they did was check Qustodio to see the truth. And most of the time I’m not lying.😡This is disgusting.
  • Unreliable

The app is VERY unreliable. Had the phone all day and never went to amazon and it said Amazon was being used anywhere from under a minute to 30 minutes. The text message feature doesn’t apply for apple phones, only android. Paying extra for the “premium” services? Not even worth it. Don’t waste your money.
  • Too many problems

I have used this app for my two teens for about a year. There have been so many problems I am finally ready to give up. The app will randomly stop working and the teen will have to delete and reload the app to get it to start working again. The location finder is almost never correct. It blocks sites that are perfectly safe (school websites and apps) but then allow them to sneak around and search things I don’t want them to see on the internet. The glitches have come with increasing frequency since the start of the year. As of today I give up. This app is horrible and should be pulled and fixed before offering it up to us parents. If you need an app like this I highly advise you to save yourself a lot of grief and look elsewhere.

I thought this would be great to prevent bad stuff from getting through and open conversations if any of the kids ended up seeing something inappropriate online. Instead it made everything slow down drastically even the adult users on the family computer that weren't being monitored. It completely blocked Facebook from even loading on monitored accounts on the computer. While it tracks websites it's every process of the browser that gets recorded so you have to scroll through a lot of irrelevant links to see what anyone was actually browsing or searching for. I just haven't felt it's worth the cost for a premium small family plan. I'll stick with the WiFi companies built in blocking of illicit sites and hope the kids come to me or just shut it down if they come across something questionable.
